Read before launch

Simple mechanics.
Plain language.

What PreStocks does, what Pons does, and exactly how a verified business receives creator fees.

01

Overview

PreStocks is a discovery and launch interface for unofficial community coins inspired by real businesses and places. Place data is resolved through OpenStreetMap, links may originate from Google Maps, and tokens launch through Pons on Robinhood Chain.

A listing is a geographic reference. It is not proof that the business created, approved, sponsors, or endorses the token.

02

Locked place identity

You can search for a business, paste a Google Maps share link, or click a point on the interactive map. PreStocks resolves that selection to canonical place data. After selection, the business or location name, address, coordinates, and place identifier are read-only for that launch.

03

Launch route

  1. Your wallet deploys a small fee router bound to the selected place and the PreStocks claim attester.
  2. The app reads Pons' current launch fee, tax cap, enabled configuration, and economics hash.
  3. Your wallet simulates and sends launchToken to the active Pons factory, using the router as creator-fee recipient.
  4. PreStocks verifies both transactions and their onchain configuration before publishing the market.

Your private key never reaches PreStocks. The launcher pays the contract deployment, live Pons launch fee, and Robinhood Chain gas from their own wallet.

Fee routing

Pons protocol fee

Charged by Pons under its current curve mechanics.

Pons-controlled
Creator tax

The 2–4% rate selected in the launch form.

Verified business
Network gas

Paid for contract deployment, launch, claim, and collection transactions.

Network-controlled

For new launches, Pons records a per-market router as creator-fee recipient. While the business is unclaimed, the router's share remains credited in the Pons escrow. Once claimed, the verified business wallet is permanently recorded as beneficiary and can forward available creator fees to itself. Legacy markets launched before this router system keep their original fee recipient.

05

Business claims

  1. Sign in with a verified account using the business's official website domain.
  2. Select the market and connect the wallet that should receive creator fees.
  3. PreStocks checks the signed-in email domain against the stored business domain and issues a short-lived claim authorization.
  4. The business wallet signs the onchain claim; PreStocks verifies the final beneficiary before marking the market claimed.

If the listing has no official website domain, the request is held for domain review and no fee ownership changes. Free email domains cannot authorize an automatic claim.

06

Risk and meaning

  • Tokens can be highly volatile and may lose all value.
  • They do not represent shares, equity, debt, revenue participation, ownership, a franchise, or rights in the business.
  • Anyone may launch an unofficial token for an unlisted place; directory inclusion is not endorsement.
  • The business fee claim is permanent for its market router, so the receiving wallet must be checked carefully.
  • Smart-contract, chain, wallet, liquidity, mapping-data, and third-party interface risks apply.
